Star Plus plays a game changer with its upcoming television show, ‘P.O.W. – Bandi Yuddh Ke’ which was the first TV show to premiere at the ‘JIO Mami Mumbai Film Festival with Star’, opening its platform to television for the first time in its 18-year history. An Indian adaptation of Gideon Raff’s acclaimed Israeli show ‘Hatufim’, ‘P.O.W.’ is a finite series launching on November 7 on Star Plus. During his visit to India, Gideon Raff met director Nikkhil Advani. He says, “I was moved and touched by the detailing given by Nikkhil. He has brought the perfect blend of emotions, drama and patriotism in ‘P.O.W’. It is exciting to see how a concept that was so well received in my country will now come alive for the audiences here.”
Nikkhil says, “The real prisoners of war are the wives, the children and the people left behind. Our story starts at a point when the soldiers have returned home after 17 years of captivity.”
