Kusum Agarwal wins Gyaan Guru title  

NDTV’s ‘Gyaan Guru’ is a show that is first of its kind with quiz on rituals and Indian culture. The show has been in the news since the time it first went on air and is being really appreciated by the viewers as it is the first show on Indian television that is based on enhancing the knowledge about culture.

The show is being hosted by veteran Shakti Arora and the latest buzz doing the rounds about the show is that Kusum Agarwal, a 71-year-old lady from Bilaspur, a village near Haryana has won the ‘Gyaan Guru’ title proving her as the epitome of knowledge. She has won ‘Gyaan Guru Ka Padak’ and been awarded with five silver coins.

Kusum said that she is on cloud nine after bagging the prize on the show and she would love to share the prize with her 5 grand children.

The host of the show- Shakti Arora said that he was bowled over by her knowledge and was truly impressed by her confidence on the show.

This episode of Gyaan Guru will be aired on February 20, 2012.
