Kratika Sengar, is one women who charmed the audience with her first debut, Jhasi Ki Rani. Her performance was lauded by audience, which gave a channel much needed boost. Despite popularity of the show, she was lost after her maiden venture. Well, Kratika reveals she was offered many more mythological roles after Jhasi Ki Rani, which didn’t excite her much. She didn’t want to get typecasted.

After doing a period drama, she wanted something light and fictional, Punar Vivah fit her needs. Kratika will be seen as one of the lead in the forthcoming ZEE TV show Punar Vivah. Punar Vivaah is a love story with a difference.It narrates the story of a couple who is forced to stay together under tough circumstances and how their emotions and feelings bring them together. The show will also have Gurmeet Choudhary playing the lead.
